POSITION SUMMARY: Perform Level 2 IT support, monitor network and servers, perform server installations and maintenance, maintain system documentation and assist in Cloud technology migration across all Opici business offices and warehouses


  • Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems
  • Manage and troubleshoot server infrastructure
  • Manage wireless network
  • Manage and troubleshoot Enterprise voice and video systems
  • Responsible for enterprise storage solutions (on premise and cloud)
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring enterprise backup solutions
  • Administer email system including AD User Account lifecycle (moves adds and changes)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Group Policy
  • Perform on premise and cloud server installations and configurations
  • Document system changes and additions
  • Perform Level 2 support and backup for Level 1 Support
  • Co-ordinate and implement server and end user software updates
  • Assist with IT change control policies and procedures
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring 2FA and Carbon Black

Systems and Technologies

  • Hardware: HP servers, Dell laptops and desktops
  • Operating Systems: Windows 2008R2/2012/2016/2019, VMWare
  • Storage and Backups: HP SAN and NAS, Unitrends, Mailbox backups
  • WAN\LAN technologies
  • Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services, Box.com, Office 365
  • VoIP hosted phone systems and Video Conference systems


  • Three years of experience installing and supporting Windows Server and VMWare OS
  • Proficiency with LAN/WAN troubleshooting
  • Problem solving skills – ability to perform root cause analysis and determine appropriate course of action
  • Strong team-working skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and pace oneself to complete own work
  • Strong understanding of Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, VMWareand Azure
  • Understanding of VLAN and network segmentation
  • Professional certifications from CompTIA and\or Microsoft preferred but not required
