OPICI Family Distributing, a family-owned business in wine and spirits for over 100 years, is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our New Jersey Sales Team. Position overview: The Regional Manager will oversee 8 Sales Representatives in a defined area of the State. The Manager is responsible for the development and overall sales performance of their team. This position reports to General Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets consistently in territory through effective management and support of their team
- Must be passionate about forming and growing relationships
- Must lead the team by example – we are looking for someone to lead in the field, out selling with the team.
- Must be able to train and develop their team in the areas of making effective sales presentations, proper account management attention to detail, product knowledge and technical support
- Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities daily
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior wine and spirits experience preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years in a Sales Management capacity
- Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good mathematical skills – must understand numbers
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Diver and CRM Software preferred
