POSITION SUMMARY: The Opici Group is looking for a dynamic outgoing ON Premise State Sales Manager to work with a family-owned company and represent fine wines and spirits from all over the world.
OPEN POSITIONS: The On-Premise State Manager is tasked with overseeing all aspects of ON premise Sales and personnel management within Opici Family Distributing NJ.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overall market strategy and development of on- premise sales planning for all current resources related to OFD on premise business and customers in New Jersey.
- Responsible for analyzing and forecasting OP territory revenue and brand budgets. Oversight of operating expenses as it relates to ON premise promotion. Directing printing and production metrics for supplier bill back and funding.
- Sales and Marketing responsibilities include working with the brand team to develop and implementing marketing, incentive, and promotional strategies along with price plans to drive sales. Planning and executing special events and programs, including new brand introductions. Setting and developing tracking methodology for all ON premise goals and initiatives for the selling divisions
- Communicating and tracking market-specific information to the sales directors, OP Kams, and communicating channel programming and above marketing initiatives to local teams and direct reports
- Collecting and submitting quarterly survey reports, reviewing monthly sales, assessing profitability and performance metrics for OP channel
- Overseeing the educational processes for distributor personnel on brands, vendor requirements and OP strategies
- Oversight of OP training program for all new hires.
- As needed, Visiting and supporting on-premises accounts on a daily basis. Working with Key supplier representatives in accounts. Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA Degree in Business-Related Field
- Proficiency in all Windows based software, including Outlook a plus. Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Distributor Sales -Alcohol Beverage Industry
