Job Description Sales Representative – Wines and Spirits

As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in presenting and promoting our premium wines and spirits within an assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on retail and restaurant accounts, where you will strategically manage product positioning, pricing, and displays to maximize sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets within the designated territory.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrate a passion for cultivating and nurturing relationships with both retail and restaurant accounts.
  • Effective Presentations: Deliver compelling product presentations to customers, showcasing the unique features of our brands and closing sales successfully.
  • Merchandising Excellence: Support accounts in optimizing product sell-through by overseeing pricing, shelf positioning, and enhancing the overall visual appeal of our products in stores.
  • Territory Management: Handle administrative tasks and territory management responsibilities efficiently to ensure seamless operations.
  • Promotional Activities: Organize and conduct weekly in-store shopper tastings to actively promote and sell our products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years of related experience and/or training
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license mandatory, with acceptable to good driving record.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds
  • Must live in sales territory
  • Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal skills with excellent customer relations skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
