OPICI Family Distributing, a family-owned business in wine and spirits for over 100 years, is currently seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to join our Operations Team with our growing Company. The Inventory Control Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Control Specialist will maintain the organization’s inventory, utilizing technology and company owned software to accurately record real time inventory transactions, receipts, and issues. This includes the transition to new systems including Testing and Training of Software Applications to ensure functionality. The scope of work includes daily cycle counting and stock checks, vintage management, reconciliation of returns, damages and unsalable, and providing report outs of all such activities. The individual will also ensure integrity of high value products, implement and support measures to eliminate shrinkage and support management in driving change and introducing process improvement
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily cycle counting, including reconciliation of shorts, returns and warehouse missing. Work collaboratively with warehouse employees to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize process technology, including Hi-Jump and D365, or any other corporate technologies and reports to maintain vintage accuracy and proper stock rotation.
- Testing and Training of WMS and Software Applications utilized in support of this position.
- Maintain highest level of visibility and accountability for high value products and other high profile sku’s.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, participating in all company sponsored safety programs, and complying with all federally regulated and company safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in a warehouse operations position focused on inventory control, preferably in a food and beverage or comparable industry.
- Proficiency in all Windows based software, including Microsoft 365 applications.
- Proficiency in Koerber HighJump based software application.
- Participation and collaboration with cross departmental teams, and interaction with individuals at different levels of the organizational chart.
- Forklift, pallet jack and conveyance experience preferred
- High School Diploma, College degree, or experience in related field required.
- Valid Driver’s License
