Opici Family Distributing of New York/RNDC New York is seeking dynamic outgoing Sales Associates/Representatives throughout the Upstate NY territory. Main Responsibilities:
- Increase sales in on and off premise accounts as well as add new accounts to the territory.
- Execute an overall sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue and placement goals.
- Provide exemplary sales and ongoing customer service for all accounts including in-store tastings and staff trainings.
- Professionally plan and execute supplier market visits in your territory.
- Attend sales meetings, annual portfolio tastings and other company events.
Qualifications:
- 4yrs industry experience.
- Passion for fine wine and craft spirits and desire to increase overall knowledge through education.
- Must be outgoing, personable and represent the company in a professional manner.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must own or have daily access to a vehicle.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be highly organized.
- Computer literate with Excel skills.
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary to start (up to 18 months) based on territory and experience ranging from $55,000 to $100,000. A transition to a 100% commissioned position with an established draw against commission. Commission rates paid in accordance with the Local 2D Collective Bargaining Agreement. Upon eligibility must be a member of Local 2D. Will be responsible for initiation and dues. Expense allowance. Eligible for Health and Welfare Package and 401k (with Company Match). Paid Time Off.
