POSITION SUMMARY: The Opici Group is looking for a dynamic outgoing Warehouse Supervisor to work with a family-owned company and represent fine wines and spirits from all over the world.

OPEN POSITIONS:  Primary responsibilities include the direct leadership and managing of warehouse associates and drivers, process and procedural design, mapping and compliance aimed at ensuring the highest level of customer service. The position will also support the North Operations Director on the strategy and vision for the facility and provide input towards the support, growth, and sustainability of the business, while partnering with Sales to provide a best-in-class customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor daily warehousing activities, including scheduling inbound containers, receiving, and put away of product, replenishment, and the preparation of requested transfers.
  • Daily routing of trucks, route updates, and driver performance tracking. Driver check in process at end of day.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse. Monitor and report out on breakage, shortage and missing. Conduct scheduled and requested cycle counts. Routinely updating the warehouse management system to reflect correct quantities and vintages.
  • Ensure code compliance with all areas associated with operations and maintain safety awareness & training among staff.
  • Attend conference calls and meetings regarding operational issues. Frequently observe the building and the needs of the warehouse and equipment.
  • Complete special projects and other duties assigned by upper management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Experience in related field required
  • Proficiency in all Windows based software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with WMS and other technologies that may become associated with the business unit.
  • Routing and Dispatching experience preferred
  • Ability to manage labor relationship issues which includes warehouse and office personnel
  • Participation and collaboration with cross departmental teams, and interaction with individuals at different levels of the organizational chart.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory position.
  • Experience managing a team of diversified employees.
